Hey, I’m Jasmer Singh Sanjotra, an aspiring researcher and engineer with a strong interest in Machine Learning, Probability Theory, Causal Reinforcement Learning, Parallel and High Performace Computing. I enjoy solving complex problems, optimizing performance, and building intelligent systems.
🔬 Research & Technical Work
- Researching Causal Reinforcement Learning & Bayesian Inference,.
- Worked on deep learning for medical imaging, including liver tumor & polyp segmentation, with publications.
- Experience with Audio Visual Speech Enhancement, including a conference paper at InterSpeechW 2024.
- Learning and exploring parallel computing, HPC, and system design to optimize performance.
- Also working on Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems using deep learning.
💻 Projects & Interests
- Developed rawML, a high-level ML framework implementing neural networks from scratch.
- Developed and optimized deep learning models for speech and text processing, including AV Speech Enhancement and multi-label NLP classification.
- Interested in Reinforcement Learning, with a focus on causal inference and decision-making under uncertainty.
- Worked on quantitative finance and led problem statements for Zelta PS as a part of Inter IIT Tech Meet 13.0 (IITB).

- Selected for IEEE SPS ME-UYR Grant to work on Text-To-Speech systems for Indic Languages.
- Selected for Amazon ML Summer School 2024
- Avid Competitive Programmer (Expert on Codeforces).
- Published research in medical AI, focusing on segmentation and deep learning architectures.

Currently diving deeper into parallel computing, system design, probability theory, and reinforcement learning, while refining my skills in machine learning and algorithmic optimization.
